The six Boyd Mountain Log Cabins are unique, authentic hand hewn log cabins dating back 150 to 200 years. They have been carefully restored and tastefully furnished with antiques and modern conveniences. The cabins are nestled in a 130 acre cove overlooking the Smoky Mountains, stocked fishing ponds and our Fraser Fir Christmas tree farm. Cows in the meadow, horses in the pasture, ducks and geese on the ponds, and a friendly Jack Russell terrier to entertain you. Sorry, no other pets are allowed. Enjoy a mountain state stocked Trout stream and free fishing in three ponds stocked with rainbow trout, bass, blue gill and catfish. Basketball, volleyball, badminton and hiking trails to the top of Boyd Mountain as well as sledding in the winter, add to the offered activities . Also skiing and snow boarding at Cataloochee Ski Area offering KIDS SKI FREE and STAY FREE at Boyd Mountain Log Cabins during the snow skiing season at Cataloochee with Holidays excluded.

    You are welcome to bring your horses and stable them on our property. Riding opportunities abound in the area, on our property and on nearby Utah Mountain, and Cataloochee Valley in the nearby Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Those guests without their own horses will find many stables in the area that provide horses for rides. 

    Our cabins have modern kitchens including a dishwasher, pure mountain spring water, heat and air-conditioning, fireplaces, washer and dryer, cable TV and VCR/DVD, telephones, porches with rocking chairs, decks with picnic tables and BBQ grill and all sheets, towels, soap, and paper products furnished. 

    The cabins are spaced around the property to give you more privacy and beautiful views. A vacation to be remembered in every season blending mountain authenticity in a peaceful country setting. Easy to get to ... Hard to forget.
